Changes to The School
Schools are forever changing. Pupils, staff and even structure. As time goes on changes are made for the better for the school and it's pupils.
When past pupils and teachers entered our school on the community evening most were shocked at what they found. Buildings had a different purpose, some even disappeared! Walkways had changed, entrances had moved and the classrooms, well some were unrecognisable!
To show what our visitors remembered our school to look like we printed out some up to date floor plans. These were manned by a Learning Detective who encouraged visitors to write down any changes that they could see.
As you will see from the following photos the difference in purpose and structure are quite substantial!

Hmmm... Then and now... What's missing?
Where rubble once stood is now a small wood full of opportunities to explore!
There may have been some changes throughout the years gone by, but one thing is for sure. That dramatic view of the Rhondda Valley is still as aesthetically pleasing as it was 135 years ago.
